We process information about your device, such as your IP address. This enables us to protect our website and is used for statistics. These are legitimate interests of Alimo.If you choose to use our chatbot for support, we will also process your email address and request details. This is required to fulfill your support request.

2.2.  For customers or suppliers

We process your contact details, such as name, email address, and shipping address. Additionally, we process payment details. This information is required to invoice and deliver the product you ordered and to communicate about the order. We may also send you offers that are related to your purchase, that we think you appreciate. You can always unsubscribe. Optionally, your telephone number, company, and comments are used to communicate about the delivery. These data will not be used by Alimofun for any other purpose than the communication about a specific order or optimizing our service. Processing of telephone number, company and comments is based on your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. 

2.3. Information of children

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not give us any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet use and to instruct their children never to provide personal information to us without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

Alimofun LLC is responsible for the processing of your personal data. We are the controller of this data. You can contact us via the contact form on our website.

Other organizations support the data processing. They are the processors. These include Shopify for all information related to your visit to our webshop, and Klaviyo or Email Octopus for all information related to your newsletter subscription. Additionally, we may share personal data with specific service providers if this is required to perform the service. When paying for a purchase, this may be processed by PayPal, VISA, AMEX, Mastercard, Stipe, or another payment service provider that is chosen by you.

When engaging in social media, information may be shared with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or others. Our website may contain links to third party websites. Alimofun cannot control the privacy practices of these sites and is not responsible for them. You should always check their privacy policies and terms.

For fulfilling your order or providing support, Amazon, Cin7, Gorgias or other companies receive information. We have agreements with them that require they provide at least the same level of privacy protection as Alimo. Data is stored and processed within the European Union, as well as in the USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Japan. When processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, Alimo will take appropriate measurements to comply with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).

We store your data for only as long as is needed for providing the service/product, for legal obligations, or for the legitimate interest that the data serves. Subscription details (e.g. email address) are removed as soon as possible and at least within 30 days after unsubscribing. Payment and order information is retained for the legal retention time and deleted afterward.
